abstract | The invention from the group consisting relates to a process for producing a combustible absorbing nuclear fuel sintered body and hence the combustible absorbing nuclear fuel sintered bodies prepared according to, particularly, the uranium dioxide (UO 2), Plutonium (IV) oxide (PuO 2), and thorium dioxide (ThO 2) Adding and mixing the boron compound and the manganese compound to at least one selected nuclear fuel powder (step 1); Forming a molded body by molding the mixed powder mixed in the step 2 (step 2); And a step (step 3) of sintering the formed article prepared in step 2 in a hydrogen atmosphere. In the method for manufacturing a combustible absorbent nuclear fuel sintered body according to the present invention, the sintering additive may be added with manganese oxide such as manganese oxide to sinter in a hydrogen atmosphere at a lower temperature than that of a conventional nuclear fuel sintered mass production process. Accordingly, it is possible to minimize the volatilization of the boron by sufficiently densifying UO 2 at a temperature at which boron volatilization is not significant, thereby reducing the open porosity and removing the passage through which boron can volatilize. |
