The hydrogenation and purification method of this invention contains the oil component which contains the oil component whose boiling point is 300 degreeC or more in the presence of hydrogen, and contains 0.5-4.5 mass% of sulfur content, and the oil component 0.3-13 mass% of the oxygen component derived from animal and vegetable oil.
