titleOfInvention Sewage / Wastewater Treatment System and Phosphorus Removal Method Using the Same
abstract The present invention relates to a sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus and a method for removing phosphorus using the same, and more particularly, a phosphorus contained in a high concentration in the return water generated in the sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus is reduced in advance through a flotation separator. Sewage and wastewater can be used as a pretreatment process of the wastewater treatment system and treated together with the influent to reduce the total phosphorus concentration of the effluent discharged from the sewage and wastewater treatment facilities below the environmental standard and to reduce the amount of flocculant used for phosphorus removal. It relates to a treatment apparatus and a method for removing phosphorus using the same. Here, "recycle water" or "reject water" refers to a circulating water containing a high concentration of contaminants such as concentrated filtrate, dewatered filtrate, backwashed water and contaminated water generated during the process of sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus.
