titleOfInvention | Microorganisms of the genus Corynebacterium with improved L-ornithine production method and method for preparing L-ornithine using the same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium with improved L-ornithine production capacity and a method for producing L-ornithine using the same, and more specifically, the present invention reduces or decreases the activity of endogenous glucose dehydrogenase (GDH). Inactivated, microorganisms of the genus Corynebacterium having improved L-ornithine production capacity, a method for preparing the microorganisms, and culturing the microorganisms using glucose as a carbon source, and recovering L-ornithine from the culture. It relates to a method for producing L-ornithine. By using the microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium with reduced activity of the endogenous glucose dehydrogenase enzyme of the present invention, not only the pentose phosphorylation pathway is activated but also the specific activity of G6PDH and 6PGD, enzymes involved in the pentose phosphorylation pathway. By increasing the NADPH production yield, and thus can improve the production yield of L- ornithine using the NADPH, it will be widely used for efficient and economical production of L- ornithine. |
