titleOfInvention | Biomimetic Multi-Layer Hydrogel Coating Method Using Adhesive Polymer-Catechol Conjugate |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method of permanently coating and forming a hydrogel on a variety of solid surfaces using a hydrophilic polymer conjugate functionalized with a catechol group, and specifically includes a catechol group in a hydrophilic synthetic polymer, polysaccharide, peptide or protein. The present invention provides a coating formulation and a coating method of forming a surface hydrogel having a desired thickness by sequentially bonding the chemical species with a covalent bond and dissolving the same, based on a multilayer thin film stacking method. The surface hydrogel coating can form a multi-layered multi-component hydrogel film having excellent adhesion regardless of the substrate or the material of the device, and can simplify the process by omitting pretreatment or initial modification, and can be applied to various fields. Various functionalities, for example, biocompatibility, blood compatibility, mucoadhesive adhesion, moisture absorption and moisture retention, surface lubricity, anti-fog effect, drug supporting ability, antibacterial effect can be usefully used. |
