titleOfInvention Cobalt ion recovery ion exchange resin with excellent swelling property and method for preparing same
abstract The present invention relates to an ion exchange resin excellent in swelling and adsorptivity. Such ion exchange resins include suspension polymerization of a vinyl monomer containing a sulfonic acid group and polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) as a crosslinking agent. The ion exchange resin prepared according to the present invention has a specific surface area is increased by the formation of pores to have a high adsorption property, and contains an acrylic group and has excellent swelling properties. In addition, the ion exchange resin prepared according to the present invention is applicable to the adsorption of cobalt in seawater.
