titleOfInvention | Transgenic mice useful for ephrin-A5 gene function research and methods of making the same |
abstract | The present invention discloses transgenic mice useful for ephrin-A5 gene function studies and methods of making the same. Specifically, the present invention includes a reporter gene whose expression is regulated by a promoter and enhancer of ephrin-A5 and an ephrin-A5-Fc gene located below the reporter gene, wherein the reporter gene is removed by homologous recombination. By including a recombinant sequence at both ends of the reporter gene so that it can be identified, the region expressed by the expression of the reporter gene Ephrine-A5 gene can be identified, when the reporter gene is removed by homologous recombination Ephrin-A5 Expression of the -Fc gene results in loss or degradation of Ephrine-A5 by binding Ephrine-A5-Fc to the Eph receptor to which Ephrine-A5 binds, resulting in loss or degradation of A5. Disclosed are a transgenic mouse and a method of making the same, which make it possible to identify a phenotype according to the present invention. |
