titleOfInvention | Stabilized heat-permeable acrylic composition |
abstract | The present invention relates to a UV stabilized permeable acrylic composition. More specifically, the acrylic composition is stabilized by using a carboxylic acid compound, thereby preventing or delaying the acrylic composition from being degraded by high intensity ultraviolet rays. As a result of delaying or preventing degradation, more ultraviolet light is transmitted through the acrylic composition for a longer time. The compositions are particularly useful for tanning and other applications that require a high degree of ultraviolet transmission and resistance to discoloration. It is also useful in optical cables, LCD displays, acrylic storage media and HID devices.n n n n UV stabilized transmissive acrylic compositions, high intensity ultraviolet light, degradation, carboxylic acid compounds, tanning beds, discoloration resistance, optical cables, LCD displays, acrylic storage media, HID devices. |
