titleOfInvention Polyamide molding materials and their use for the production of transparent steam-sterile moldings and extrusion materials
abstract The present invention relates to the use of said polyamide molding material or copolyamide molding material for the production of polyamide molding material or copolyamide molding material and steam-sterilized transparent molded articles and extrusion materials. The polyamide molding material is 35 to 42 mol% bis (4-amino-methylcyclohexyl) methane (MACM), 35 to 42 mol% isophthalic acid (IPS) and 16 to 30 mol% lauric lactam (LC 12) At least one copolyamide formed. MACM can be replaced by up to 50% by bis (4-aminocyclohexyl) methane (PACM) and IPA can be replaced by up to 50% by terephthalic acid (TPA). The polyamide molding material may also be a blend of polyamide 12 and copolyamides or a blend of copolyamides. The relative viscosity (RV) of the polyamide molding material or copolyamide molding material is in any case adjusted to a value greater than 1.45. High temperature sterilizable and transparent standard specimens produced from the polyamide molding material or copolyamide molding material and corresponding to transparent molded articles and extrudates are stretched after at least 140 and particularly preferably at least 350 steam sterilization cycles. It has a tensile strain at break beyond the limit.n n n Polyamide, Copolyamide, Hot-Steam-Sterilizable, Isophthalic Acid, Terephthalic Acid
