Modified composition for a cycloolefin polymer film, immersing the modified composition, washing the cycloolefin polymer film with pure water, and drying the cycloolefin polymer film comprising the step of modifying the cycloolefin polymer film The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a polarizing plate, wherein the cycloolefin polymer film is attached to one surface of a polyvinyl alcohol polarizing film using an aqueous adhesive.n n n The modified composition for the cycloolefin polymer (COP) film of the present invention is hydrophilically modified by introducing a hydroxyl group (-OH) on the surface of the cycloolefin polymer film by using a peroxide or peroxo compound to subsequently make the cycloolefin polymer film hydrophilic.
