abstract |
An integrated purification process for the production of high quality gasoline blending components from low cost components is disclosed. Also disclosed is a method of producing a low volatility, high quality gasoline blending component while improving the operating efficiency of the purification by reducing fuel gas production. The methods include alkylating a purified stream containing pentene with ethylene using an ionic liquid catalyst. |
