The present invention relates to thermoplastic polyether polyurethanes having high moisture permeability, high melting point and electrostatic dissipation properties. Thermoplastic polyether polyurethanes are prepared by reacting hydroxyl terminated polyether intermediates, aromatic chain extender glycols, and polyisocyanates. The polymers formed are used in melt spun fiber, breathable apparel fabric coatings, house wraps, roofing membranes, and other applications requiring high moisture permeability and high melting point. |
