titleOfInvention Selection and isolation of living cells using mRNA binding probes
abstract The present invention relates to the use of the present invention to reliably and efficiently detect not only mRNA but also other RNA in living cells, and to identify and, if necessary, isolate cells based on certain characteristics of the RNA. The method is so simple that it shortens the time needed to perform a known procedure, and also selects cells which make a particular protein or antisense oligonucleotide, creates a cell line expressing multiple proteins, one or more proteins and other proteins. It provides a new approach, such as making a cell line that knocks out.
