titleOfInvention Droplet Synthesis of Block Copolymers Using Chemical-resistant Microfluidic Reactors
abstract The present invention provides a method for preparing a diblock copolymer optimized by RAFT exothermic reaction using microdroplets using solvent- and heat-resistant fluororesin droplet fluid microreactors, and using the same, micelles of uniform size using a cosolvent. The present invention relates to the application of a template for producing a silica having a uniform mesopores, and using the same. The diblock copolymer prepared by the present invention has a very short reaction time, a high conversion rate, a high molecular weight, but a very narrow molecular weight distribution in comparison with a polymer prepared by a conventional bulk polymerization or continuous flow capillary reactor. PMMA-b-PS, a highly functional block copolymer of the present invention, can be expected to be used as a template for preparing micelles having a very uniform size or for producing mesoporous silica having a regular structure and a high specific surface area.
