In the polyester resin for metal plate coating of this invention, 2-10 mol% of dimer acids are contained as a dicarboxylic acid component, and weight average molecular weight (Mw) exists in the range of 70,000-160,000, and excellent film forming property and It is possible to provide a polyester resin for coating a metal plate having corrosion resistance and excellent impact resistance, and furthermore, a resin-coated metal sheet and a resin coating which are excellent in various properties of corrosion resistance, impact resistance (indentation resistance), workability, adhesion and flavor. A metal can and a can lid made of a metal plate can be provided. |
