abstract |
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an assembled battery in which a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator disposed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and two kinds of secondary batteries having different battery characteristics (charging voltage behavior) provided with a nonaqueous electrolyte. That is, the present invention relates to an assembled battery in which at least one first single cell and at least one second single cell are electrically connected in series. The second single cell has a larger change in the charging voltage at the end of charging than the first single cell, and a larger battery capacity. Thereby, the assembled battery which is excellent in long-term reliability and safety at the time of overcharge can be obtained. |
