A method of preparing a slurry comprising a solid particulate olefin polymer and a diluent by polymerizing an olefin monomer in a continuous tubular loop reactor in the presence of a polymerization catalyst in a diluent, wherein an average internal diameter of at least 50% of the total length of the reactor is 700 mm. A slurry production method is disclosed, wherein the solid concentration in the reactor is at least 20% by volume and the number of fructose is maintained at 30 or less.n n n Slurry phase polymerization. |
