titleOfInvention | Crosslinked Polysaccharide Fine Particles and Manufacturing Method Thereof |
abstract | Provided are long-term sustained-release preparations that can be encapsulated at high encapsulation rates, injectable, and fully biodegradable and safe, such as proteins or peptides, without inhibiting the biological activity of drugs such as proteins and peptides. n By dehydrating a solution of a polysaccharide derivative such as hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof and a drug having a crosslinkable functional group to a concentration at which the crosslinking reaction proceeds from a lean state in which the crosslinking reaction proceeds slowly in the particulate state, a crosslinking reaction is caused during concentration. By incorporating the drug into drug-bearing microparticles encapsulated in a polysaccharide crosslinked product, an injectable sustained-release preparation capable of efficiently encapsulating and sustaining sustained release of a drug such as proteins and peptides can be efficiently maintained. n n Sustained-release preparations |
