titleOfInvention | Prefilled retractable syringe, plunger and its needle assembly |
abstract | A retractable syringe, plunger and detachable needle retention assembly are provided. Retractable syringes typically have a glass barrel and are prefilled with the fluid contents prior to use. The detachable needle retention system includes a retractable needle, a needle seal, a retaining member, and an ejector member operable to separate the retractable needle from the retaining member. The retaining member has a mating surface relative to the mating surface of the inner wall portion of the syringe barrel. The plunger includes a plunger outer portion, a plunger rod destructively connected to the adjustment member, a spring, and an integral plunger seal that can engage the retractable needle, and the plunger rod, the plunger outer portion and the adjustment member can detach the spring in the initial compression state. To keep it running. After delivering the fluid contents of the syringe, the plunger causes the ejector member to separate the retractable needle from the retaining member. Decompression of the spring at the end of the lowering of the plunger facilitates the retraction of the retractable needle when engaged with the integral plunger seal. Reuse of the syringe after needle retraction is prevented by the dual locking system. |
