| abstract |
The present invention relates to a novel phosphor material and a light source comprising the phosphor material. The novel phosphor material from the class of oxynitrides has a charge stoichiometry MO-SiO 2 -Si 3 N 4, where M is preferably Ba. Phosphor materials are prepared from charge stoichiometry MO-SiO2-Si3N4 and have an increased oxygen content compared to the known phosphor material MSi2O2N2: D, where MO is an oxydic compound of M. Known compounds and other packing stoichiometry allow for improvement of many properties. |
