abstract The present invention relates to a method for recovering indium sponge, copper sponge, tin sponge and zinc oxide from a mixed metal sponge, and more particularly, to an indium sponge from a mixed metal sponge generated in the process of recovering indium from a conventional indium hydroxide-containing cake, In addition to recovering copper sponges and tin sponges, zinc oxides can be recovered from zinc-based waste acids generated during the recovery of the respective sponges, thereby allowing indium, copper, tin and additionally in the conventionally discarded mixed metal sponges. The present invention relates to a method for recovering indium sponge, copper sponge, tin sponge and zinc oxide from mixed metal sponges that can recycle and recycle zinc oxide produced.
