| abstract | The present invention provides a washing machine having a balancer which prevents fusion dregs generated when the balancer is made by fusion from flowing into and out of the balancer. The balancer includes a first housing and a second housing fused together. The first housing has a fusion protrusion protruding toward the second housing, and the second housing has a fusion groove for receiving the fusion protrusion of the first housing to be fused together. The first housing further includes an inner pocket protrusion protruding toward the second housing away from the fusion protrusion inside the fusion protrusion to form an inner pocket portion between the fusion protrusion and the inner pocket protrusion. The second housing further includes an outer pocket protrusion protruding toward the first housing so as to be spaced apart from the fusion protrusion at a predetermined distance from the outside of the fusion groove so that an outer pocket portion is formed between the fusion protrusion and the outer pocket protrusion. |
