abstract | Corrosion inhibitors are disclosed for use in heat transfer fluids having a conductivity of less than 200 μS / cm, wherein the corrosion inhibitor has at least one of an azole compound and a siloxane based surfactant, colloidal silica, or mixtures thereof. Also disclosed are corrosion inhibiting heat transfer fluids having a conductivity of 200 μS / cm or less and comprising the disclosed corrosion inhibitors. In addition, an assembly is provided that includes an alternative power source and a heat transfer system in thermal communication with the alternative power source, the heat transfer system comprising the disclosed corrosion inhibiting heat transfer fluid.
