abstract The present invention relates to a method capable of effectively extracting and analyzing female hormone metabolites present in trace amounts in biological samples such as urine and blood of postmenopausal women with high sensitivity. The analytical method of the present invention can determine the total female hormone metabolic distribution trend by measuring the concentration of female hormone in the biological sample with improved detection and resolution, as well as by checking the ratio between female hormones involved in metabolism. Therefore, it can be applied to the study of diseases related to female hormone metabolism such as breast cancer and osteoporosis, and the scope of application can be extended to the case of evaluating their concentration and enzyme activity in other female hormone-related diseases.
