abstract The present invention relates to a fusion protein containing a low molecular heat shock protein, a cage protein constituted by the same, and a novel use thereof. Specifically, a fusion protein in which a recognition site of a protease and a histidine polymer are sequentially connected to a low molecular shock protein, Cage proteins constructed thereby and their novel uses. The fusion protein of the present invention, the cage protein formed by its self-assembling properties, has no cytotoxicity compared to the conventional single peptide for molecular imaging, can emit 20-50 times higher fluorescence signal per single protein, and has very high cell permeability. It can be used effectively as a biosensor or bioactive substance carrier.
