abstract | The present invention relates to a fusion protein of ferritin and GALA peptides, cage proteins constituted by the same, and novel uses thereof, specifically, a fusion protein prepared by introducing a GALA peptide in which structural modifications occur in weak acidity to ferritin protein, Cage proteins constructed thereby and their novel uses. The fusion protein of the ferritin and GALA peptide of the present invention, the cage protein constituted by the weak acid such as pH 6.0 to 6.5, compared to the cage structure of the cage protein formed from the conventional ferritin dissociated into units only in a strong acidity of less than pH 4.0 Because of its dissociation property, it can release the drug effectively even in weak acidic environment such as cancer tissue, and it can be applied as a biosensor because it reacts structurally to the acid stimulus. |
