titleOfInvention | Ethanol-resistant Yeast Strains and Their Uses |
abstract | The present invention relates to ethanol-resistant transformed yeast strains comprising the mutated SPT15 gene and uses thereof. Yeast strains of the present invention are yeast strains that can grow in high concentration ethanol, preferably 12.5-15% ethanol. Therefore, by inventing strains that exhibit high concentrations of ethanol, it will be useful for more efficient ethanol production, and will also have utility as a super strain of high efficiency ethanol production ability that is resistant to various stresses generated in the bioethanol production process. |
