abstract | The present invention provides a composition and a method for removing snow from a non-chloride liquid snow removal agent used for the purpose of winter snow removal / melting and freezing prevention. The non-chloride liquid snow removing agent composition according to the present invention includes acetates and formates of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals, chitosan, corrosion inhibitors and water. Such a snow removing composition has no metal corrosion and does not adversely affect the natural environment, has no bad smell, no residue, and does not generate recrystallization of acetate or formate, and thus has excellent snow removing performance. The present invention also provides a snow removing method for melting and removing snow accumulated on the road by heating and spraying the liquid snow removing agent composition.
