titleOfInvention | A dark gray soda lime silicate glass composition intended for the manufacture of a pane, a glass sheet with the composition and a window comprising the glass sheet |
abstract | The present invention relates to a deep gray soda lime silicate glass composition, which comprises a colored portion which essentially comprises various contents of the compound within the following defined weights:n n n Fe 2 O 3 (total iron) 0.7 to 0.95%n n n CoO 50 to 80 ppmn n n NiO 400 to 700 ppmn n n orn n n Fe 2 O 3 (total iron) 0.7 to 0.95%n n n CoO 200 to 300 ppmn n n NiO 1500-1900 ppmn n n The composition is free of selenium, has a redox of less than 0.40, and has a light transmission coefficient (T LA ) of 50% or less and a total energy transmission coefficient (T E ) of 45% or less under the illuminant A. They are measured for thickness 3.85 mm.n n n The invention also relates to a glass sheet obtained from the above-mentioned composition and optionally heat toughened, and in particular a "privacy" window pane of an automobile, comprising at least one such sheet. |
