titleOfInvention | Beverages containing vegetable sterols |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing a substantially stable dispersion containing as a main component hydrophobic vegetable sterols and water-soluble substances without using a production aid. The vegetable sterols are selected from vegetable thrones and vegetable stanols. The method mixes the vegetable sterols with a water soluble material to form a first dispersion and homogenizes the heated mixture obtained by heating the mixture to form a second dispersion. The particle size of the hydrophobic vegetable sterol particles in the first dispersion and the second dispersion is about 0.1 micron to about 30 microns. |
