titleOfInvention | Pharmaceutical composition for improving or treating retinal disease, comprising TIP60 as an active ingredient |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for improving or treating retinal disease, including TIP60 as an active ingredient, and a method for screening a therapeutic agent for retinal disease. The present invention is the first report to investigate the mutual binding of NRL and TIP60 and reactivation of NRL protein through retinal disease. In the present invention, TIP60 can be used to improve or treat retinal disease by directly binding to NRL and increasing the transcriptional activity of the NRL protein to induce transcriptional activation of a promoter (eg, rhodopsin promoter) of the target gene. In addition, the present invention provides basic data on the development and treatment of new drugs through the regulation of TIP60 protein in the treatment of retinal diseases (especially retinal pigmentosa).n n n n TIP60, NRL, Rhodopsin, Retinal Disease |
