titleOfInvention | UV Curable Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Composition for Plastic Substrate Coating |
abstract | The present invention relates to an ultraviolet curable organic-inorganic hybrid composition for use in coating a plastic substrate and a plastic substrate coated with the composition to form a coating film. The composition of the present invention is composed of an inorganic component including an inorganic precursor, a silane coupling agent and a cosolvent, and an organic component including an ultraviolet curing oligomer, a monomer, and a photoinitiator. When the UV curable organic-inorganic hybrid coating composition of the present invention is coated on a plastic substrate to form a thin film, the surface hardness of the coated plastic substrate may be improved and excellent weather resistance, wear resistance, and chemical resistance may be imparted. In addition, since the formation of the coating thin film is induced by ultraviolet curing, high temperature heat treatment for curing is unnecessary and economical.n n n n Organic-inorganic hybrid, coating agent, inorganic precursor, silane coupling agent, UV curing, oligomer, monomer, photoinitiator, plastic substrate, polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate |
