abstract | The present invention provides artificial blood vessels having a local immune suppression function, artificial pancreas using artificial blood vessels, and a method for producing artificial blood vessels. The artificial blood vessel according to the present invention includes a tubular member providing a passage through which blood flows, and a micro filter positioned at the inlet side and the outlet side of the tubular member, respectively. The fine filter includes a filter body having through-holes having a nanometer-scale width, and a polymer membrane positioned on a surface of the filter body including sidewalls of the through-holes to prevent adhesion of cells. Artificial blood vessels block the influx of immune cells and immunoglobulins into the tube member by a microfilter and allow plasma to pass through. |
