abstract The present invention is excellent in adhesiveness, transparency, acid resistance, coating property, flatness, light resistance and foreign matter characteristics to substrates such as solvent resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, water resistance or glass, and excellent cured film also in heat resistance. And a polymer composition for imparting such a cured film. A thermosetting polymer composition comprising a polyester compound obtained by reacting a tetracarboxylic dianhydride and a polyhydroxy compound, an N-substituted maleimide copolymer, and a solvent is provided. Here, the N-substituted maleimide copolymer is a copolymer of a monomer containing N-substituted maleimide and oxilanyl or a copolymer of a monomer containing N-substituted maleimide and oxetanyl.
