Aromatic amine derivatives in which terminal substituents, such as dibenzofuran ring and dibenzothiophene ring, are bonded directly to a nitrogen atom through an arylene group or the like, and an organic layer composed of one or more layers including at least a light emitting layer between the cathode and the anode. In an organic electroluminescent device in which a thin film layer is sandwiched, at least one layer of the organic thin film layer is an organic electroluminescent device containing the aromatic amine derivative alone or as a component of a mixture, and has a long lifetime and high organic light emitting efficiency. An electroluminescent device and an aromatic amine derivative for realizing the same are provided. |
