titleOfInvention | Heat-expanded microspheres, preparation method thereof, heat-expandable microspheres and uses |
abstract | The method for producing thermally expanded microspheres comprises an outer shell made of a thermoplastic resin and a foaming agent contained therein and having a boiling point below the softening point of the thermoplastic resin and containing thermally expandable microspheres having an average particle diameter of 1 to 100 µm. Flowing a gaseous fluid through a gas introduction tube provided with a dispersion nozzle at an outlet and installed inside the hot air flow, and spraying it from the dispersion nozzle, and impinging the gas fluid on a collision plate provided at a lower portion of the dispersion nozzle. And a step of dispersing thermally expandable microspheres in the hot air stream, and expanding and expanding the dispersed thermally expandable microspheres in the hot air stream at an expansion start temperature or higher. In this manufacturing method, the change in the coefficient of variation of the particle size distribution before and after thermal expansion is small, the amount of raw materials and slightly expanded microspheres is small, and formation of aggregated microspheres is suppressed.n n n n Thermally expansible microspheres |
