titleOfInvention | Systems and Methods for Providing Treatment for Body Parts |
abstract | The present invention relates to systems and methods for providing treatment for a portion of the body. This system and method uses elastic bands to hold the pack against injured areas on the body. This system and method is particularly effective for supporting packs that require access to the surrounding environment to maintain chemical reactions within the pack. The system includes a pack that includes a gas permeable portion and an elastic band that includes an opening. The pack is secured to the elastic band such that the gas permeable portion of the pack is exposed through the opening in the elastic band. The elastic band provides support for the pack without covering the gas permeable portion of the pack. Therefore, the elastic band does not inhibit chemical reactions in the pack when applying the elastic band to a portion of the body.n n n n Topical therapy, elastic band, gas permeability |
