The present invention includes an anode electrode, a cathode electrode and an electrolyte or an ion exchange membrane between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, the cathode electrode comprises an iron redox pair as an oxidant, the iron redox pair is regenerated by an oxidizing gas It relates to a fuel cell.
