titleOfInvention Noise Reduction Method of PET Signal in PET-MRI Convergence Apparatus Using Modeling and PET System in PET-MRI Convergence Apparatus Using the Same
abstract Disclosed is a method for noise reduction of a PET signal in a PET-MRI fusion device without an MRI RF shield that degrades the image quality of the PET-MRI fusion device. The method includes (a1) converting a PET (Positron Emission Tomography: PET) analog signal into a digital signal having a predetermined sampling frequency, and (b1) modeling using a sampling point of the PET digital signal or an integral value of the PET digital signal. Determining whether the PET digital signal to be included in the image configuration through, and (c1) Extracting only the PET digital signal to be included in the image configuration. Molecular images can be obtained without degrading the performance of the PET detector.
