abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for imparting hydrophilic flame retardant processing and flexibility of natural fabrics. The present invention grafts a hydrophilic material by immersing a vinyl phosphonate, a hydrophilic monomer and a lipophilic acrylic monomer of 10% or less of a hydrophilic monomer in a mixed solution of a polymerization initiator, and then performing electron beam treatment or high temperature steam treatment such as ultraviolet rays.
