Novel Archaea Candidatus Nitrosotereus Corriensis MB1 Strain with Ammonia Oxidation Activity from Soil |
abstract |
The present invention is directed to a bacterium of the bacteriophage Candidatus nitrosotereus corriensis MY1 (KCTC 11711BP) strain having ammonia oxidation activity isolated from soil and to soils contaminated with ammonia including the same, air containing ammonia, or ammonia-containing wastewater. A composition for use for purifying. The strain of the present invention is an ammonia-oxidizing archaea isolated from the soil, and can provide basic information on the study on the ammonia oxidation activity of the archaea and its role in the nitrogen cycle in the soil environment. In addition, the strain of the present invention can be usefully used to purify soil, ammonia-containing odor, ammonia-containing wastewater contaminated with ammonia, such as animal waste or artificial fertilizer. |
