titleOfInvention | Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst for iron-based reaction and preparation method thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to an iron-based catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) reaction and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to iron on a cerium-zirconium oxide support prepared by a sol-gel method. The present invention relates to a novel catalyst having potassium as an active ingredient supported by one or more enhancer metals selected from copper, manganese, and cobalt, and a method for producing the same, using as a main component.n n n The iron-based catalyst according to the present invention is able to secure stable catalytic activity for a long time when applied to Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction using syngas, and exhibits high conversion of carbon monoxide and low selectivity for methane, which is a major byproduct. It is excellent in improving the yield of high boiling point hydrocarbons and light olefins (C 2 -C 4 light hydrocarbons).n n n n Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (FTS) reaction, iron, cerium-zirconium oxide, high boiling hydrocarbons, light olefins, sol-gel methods |
