Borate and Near Infrared Absorbents |
abstract |
A borate for a near infrared absorbing material having an anion represented by the formula (1) is disclosed: [BR 1 m R 2 4 -m ] - (where R 1 represents an aryl group having an electron withdrawing group; R 2 is an organic group) , Halogen group or hydroxyl group; and m is an integer ranging from 1 to 4). The borate of the present invention can improve the durability, especially heat resistance and water resistance, of the near infrared absorbing dye. |
