titleOfInvention Loading and Regeneration of Adsorbent Bed
abstract The present invention relates to a process for removing impurities from a liquid by contacting a solid adsorbent using a parallel contact adsorbent bed which is regenerated by contacting a parallel bed with a heated inert gas when one bed is in contact with the liquid. During the exchange, inert gas is transferred from the regenerated bed to the spent bed throughout the period of liquid draining from the spent bed.
