titleOfInvention | Method for preparing dioxane acetic acid ester |
abstract | The present invention provides a process for preparing the ester of formula (1). In formula (1), R 1 represents a leaving group, CN, OH or COOR 5 group, each of R 3 and R 4 independently represent a C1-3 alkyl group, R 2 and R 5 are each independently Ester residues. In the formula (2), M represents H or an alkali (earth) metal. In this process, the corresponding salt having formula (2) in an inert solvent is contacted with an acid chloride forming reagent to form the corresponding acid chloride, and the alcohol having formula R 2 OH in the presence of N-methylmorpholine and the Acid chloride is contacted. Preferably, M represents an alkali metal and R 2 represents an alkyl group, in particular a t-butyl group.n n n [Formula 1]n n n n n n n n [Formula 2] |
