| abstract | In one embodiment, the visual tube flow meter is formed of a plurality of fluoropolymer parts welded together to form a single flow meter body. The part is placed in a flow conduit according to a PFA upright sight tube with two ends, two fittings welded singly on each end of the sight tube, a flow conduit extending therethrough, and a flow level flowing therethrough. It can include a fluoropolymer float device that is movable to various locations. The float device may be of such a flowmeter embodiment where a low fluid flow rate is measured or in a convenient shape, and an elongate float may be used. The float, in particular its designated portion, can be seen through the viewing tube to provide a visual indication of the position and thus the flow rate of the fluid flowing through the flow meter.
