abstract The present invention relates to a method for purifying a protein belonging to the TGF-β superfamily, preferably BMP, more preferably BMP2. In particular, the purification method of BMP2 according to the present invention is a reduced and simplified step compared to the conventional purification method of BMP2, thereby reducing the cost, it can lead to a reduction in the time required for purification. In addition, the longer the time to purify BMP2 and the more the purification step, the lower the recovery rate of BMP2 due to the degradation of the BMP2 by the protease and the purification process in the intermediate step, thereby solving the problem, according to the present invention Purification of BMP2 increases the final recovery of BMP2. Furthermore, although the purification step of BMP2 according to the present invention is reduced, the filtration method, chromatography method, column, buffer, type and concentration of compounds, diafiltration of the thin film used for diafiltration are different from the conventional BMP2 purification method. By optimizing the fraction size, the purity of the recovered BMP2 is very good.
