titleOfInvention Complex structure
abstract [assignment]n n n An object of this invention is to provide the composite structure which improved the mechanical strength of the structure which consists of yttrium oxide formed in the surface of a base material.n n n [Resolution]n n n In the present invention, the structure of yttrium oxide formed on the surface of the base material is composed of yttrium polycrystal, and the grain boundary layer of glassy substance is substantially absent at the interface between the crystals constituting the structure and further oxidized. By mixing the crystal structure of the yttrium polycrystal with cubic and monoclinic systems, it was possible to make the hardness of the structure of yttrium oxide formed on the substrate surface larger than that of the yttrium sintered compact.
