titleOfInvention Beetle capture system and method of manufacturing the system
abstract The present invention relates to a beetle trap device configured for use with a fuel supply comprising a combustible fuel. The apparatus comprises a support frame; A worm capture chamber supported on the support frame; It also includes a combustion device supported on the support frame. The combustion apparatus includes an injection port for connecting the fuel supply unit, an exhaust port, and a combustion chamber in communication with the exhaust port. The injection port flows fuel from the fuel supply into the combustion chamber for continuous combustion therein for generating exhaust gas in the combustion chamber. The combustion device further comprises a catalytic element disposed in the combustion chamber. The catalytic element has a catalyst body having a plurality of linear elongated conduits which allow the exhaust gases generated in the combustion chamber to flow through and towards the exhaust port. The catalyst body includes a catalytically active material that converts carbon monoxide in the exhaust gas to carbon dioxide when the exhaust gas flows through the elongate conduit during operation. The worm inlet communicates with the chamber so that the worms can enter the worm capture chamber through the worm inlet. The vacuum device in communication with the worm inlet is constructed and arranged to attract worms attracted to the exhaust through the worm inlet into the worm capture chamber.
