The sulfur content in kerosene can be efficiently removed to low concentrations without adding hydrogen, and an optimum method of using a desulfurization agent for liquid hydrocarbons with a long life is provided.n n n A method for removing sulfur content in kerosene without adding hydrogen by using a metal-based desulfurization agent, wherein the desulfurization conditions satisfy the following formula (1).n n n Equation 1n n n n n n n n Wheren n n T ope is the operating temperature (℃),n n n P ope is the operating pressure (MPa),n n n T 50 is the outflow temperature at the time of 50% outflow determined by the atmospheric pressure distillation test method specified in JIS K2254 petroleum product-distillation test method. |
